Need a formula to sort text and numbers in one column the original was in alphabetical order and when I sorted to a register order insted of 1.2 3 ,4,5 etc I get 1,10,100

I have a solution with supporting column. Paste this formula in F column and sort by Column F

13A all though but your formula does not read this .

Iam looking for

when sorted
My apologies the formula does work as there were multiple registers I had to insert a row break after each register and it sorted just the one register indidually when highlighted thanks for your help.
just FYI, Fotis's formulas are almost never flawed, and if they dont work, it is most often because an inaccurate discrition was given, or the formula itself was applied incorrectly
