return list value if true and increment row

    Hi,

I am trying to create an automatic list of indexed names by referencing a list. Once a condition is met (see excel sheet), the name indexes to the next value in the list. Every time this condition is met, I need this index to occur. Excuse my poor description, it's my first post.

    Cheers,

    Kyle

Well, I've looked at your attached file and I don't understand what you want to achieve, so maybe in your second post you could try to describe things a bit more clearly.

The index list is on the setup page, I want to index through the array from "" to A to B (continuous through the array). I want the index to happen once the condition is met in column D where the current value is higher than the previous. I need to rewrite the formula in colum B on the design page to achieve that. Note: The array can have various combinations of letters in no particular order following the first value ("").

I think I know what you mean - put this formula in B4 of the Design sheet:

    then copy down.

    Hope this helps.
