    Include contents of adjacent cell in a formula as the sheet name?

    I thought I knew quite a bit on Excel, but you guys keep blowing my mind with what you know.

    Here's another one for you then:

    On Sheet1, I have a column listing the sheet names (around 30 rows) and want to show, say, cell A1 from each other sheet next to their corresponding sheet name on Sheet1.

    Sheet names
    AAA =('AAA'!A1)
    BBB =('BBB'!A1)
    CCC =('CCC'!A1)
    DDD =('DDD'!A1)
    EEE =('EEE'!A1)
    FFF =('FFF'!A1)

    Is there an easier way of entering the sheet name into the formula to save me typing each sheet name into it?

    Many thanks
    David.
