Array search - display project data and column number for further indexing

    Hi all,

I have a datasheet containing project information and have used a search function to display all relevant rows based on a text string search for the closest match to a user name.
I'm looking for a way to display the user's involvement in the project and required time spent by indexing the relevant row and column against 2 similar-sized arrays.

Not sure if I'm on the right track or if this is the most efficient way of picking out the relevant data. Appreciate some advice and guidance on this.
Have attached my file for reference
    Thanks!!

Organise the data and go for Pivot Table instead of using lengthy formula's. Because tracing error in lengthy formula is a hectic one.

Pivot table might be a little cumbersome to use with 12 columns containing user names.

Another reason why I'm trying to use an array search function is because the actual data sheet may contain several names in one cell.
Using a pivot table doesn't allow somebody who's organizing resources to quickly pick out all relevant projects that a user is involved in

You can assign a helper column with formula and include that column also in your pivot. Because the Array formula on each cell will consume much time and size when it is applied on so many cells.

I'll check out the pivot option, but at the same time, do appreciate if there's anyone in this forum who can help me out here.

I've got everything in the spreadsheet working the way I need it to (it's not a matter of debugging or tracing an error), and all I need right now is to find a way to display the column reference for the search function.
