Hello all,
I need help finding the correct formula for a spreadsheet im working on. I have one column that is a called "type" for expenses, and another column that has the value of the expense. Is there a formula that can look in the type column and find every row that has a certain type, say it is "food" and return the sum of the values in the other column's rows that contains the value of the expense? I tried to use "lookup" but it would only return one value and not the sum of all of that specific type of expense. Thanks for the help!
