Automatic Sort in Excel 2007

Hi,

I built a spreadsheet with sales information for retailers in different regions. I am able to see actual sales and sales plan by month by selecting the month from a dropdown list. What I need is that every time I change the month, all the retailers are automatically sorted from highest to lowest sales volume. I tried with the Rank formula, but it doesn't do what I need.

Can someone help with this?

I think pivot table will help you, with the information you will need (in the future).

In that case you need to store your data in a table.

You added no data, without confidentional information, so i can't show it to you.

Thanks for your reply.

Attached is a simplified version of my file. Every time I select a month I need the information to be automatically sorted based on the sales volumen in column E, without me doing it using the Data-Sort tool.
