    Another VLookup issue.

    Hi All,

    Had some help the other day but the thread went dry and never managed to finish. Basically this just returns ("ok" , "x") in the cells where they meet the criteria. The issue is that it is supposed to meet the criteria or do better and anything that isn't exact is flagging as x.

    Thanks,

    Give an example of one that is wrong and what it should be and why.

    Employees = 30
    Size = 10,000 - 25,000
    Hours spent = 11

    "Hours spent should be 12 or greater"

    That returns an x which sounds like what you want. Is that an example of what is NOT working?

    "Hours spent should be 12 or greater"

    The above is an example of a wrong example, if you look at the table on the other worksheet it should be clearer about the guidelines then I could be.

    Lets assume that they put 14 in the hours spent, it is greater than twelve so it should be right but because it is not exactly 12 it is flagging it up as "x".

    Pretty much what I am trying to do is see if people are doing the right amount of hours (or more) based on the criteria of "plant size" and "employee size"

    Thanks,

    I put in 11,000, 30 employees, 14 and got ok. I cannot see the problem.

    Look at row 5:

    7500 250 6 21 11 x

    It has less than 10K, has 250 employees and 21 hours were spent exceeding the 16 that are required for this size and employee count.

    See what I mean
