How to pull column headings into another column for sorting sizes

I work for a charity and downloaded the info from the registration site. It came to me with all the t-shirt sizes running in separate columns across the sheet by sizes (small, medium, large, xlarge). Entrants are in the far left column. They size they indicated during online reg shows up as a 1 in a column. All the other columns display 0 across their row.

Is there a way to put a formula into a new column that would look know which column the "1" is in and also put the column heading name (which is the size of shirt selected" ---- into that new column next to their name?

if the entries are all 1's or 0's, you have a couple of options...

probably the easiest would be =sum(range)....where range is the range you need to check

    you could also use =countif(range,1)

let me know how that works for you?
    1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)

Re: How to pull column headings into another column for sorting sizes

Hi and thanks for giving input. That allows me to see a 1 by every rider's name... but not the actual size of the t-shirt which is the column heading of whatever column the 1 was in. So somehow, once it figures out which column in it's row has the 1 in it, can it then put the name of that column into the cell so I can see what size of shirt the entrant ordered? Thanks again for any leads.
