How to create a calendar drop down menu within a cell

I am trying to creat a spread sheet that requres quite a few dates in certain cells within a 6 month range.
I.E. I want to be able to click on a cell a calendar pops up giving the option to go from now to up to 6 months ahead, select the required date which will then drop this date into the cell.

I have extracted a section of my sheet and attached to show requirement.

an option is to make a dropdown menu where people can select a date.
create a second sheet with dates en use data validation (list) that refers to the second sheet.

you have to enter the reference to the second sheet yourself because excel'07 "can't" do it.
enter for example "=Sheet2!$b$2:$B$100" in the source

i think you have to go in VBA mode to actually make an calandar like pop up.

    Best regards,

"VBA mode" isnn't a mode, with VBA you are able to programme Excel to do all kind of things, including a calandar pop up.

sadly i'm not a pro in VBA so i don't know how to do it.

i'm happy to be of some help.
    good luck!
