    Freezing Dates

Hello. On my sheet i would like to capture the average of my numbers in coloum "H" when the date become equal to the dates in coloum "G" rows 145 and 146. I then want the average to "freeze" and not increase of decress from that point further.

any sugestions. I have tried sumif by the dates and the divied by counta but it doesnt seem to be working.

i found a macro they said would work but thats not working either so any help would be great!

For what it may be worth, try this formula:-

It returns zero if the AVERAGEIFS function evaluates to an error. That would be the case if the name you ask for isn't in the list or if there are no numbers to average in column C that match the requirements specified by the date in B145.
It seems that your list of names in Sheet1(2)!A:A isn't coordinated with the names in Sheet1(2)!G:G and that is causing a lot of errors in your present calculations.
