    Formula to calculate summary of expenses from expense columns by column day

    Hi All

    Just wondering if anyone could help with this one.....I have a spreadsheet with weekly detailed expenses analyised by day and date under relevant expense column. I then need to summarise total costs on a separate spreadsheet, totalled by day under relevant expense column so I just end up with a spreadsheet totalling monday to sunday expenses.

    Hope this makes sense?

    Hi, If you want to sum your data based on expense column, You can try sumif function.

    A Pivot Table is also a possibility
