Hello! I'm working on our company's timesheet and i stumbled upon this problem on Undertime. Please help!!
This is the logic I used on our undertime: if ACTUAL TIME OUT is less than SCHEDULED TIME OUT, then SCHEDULED TIME OUT minus ACTUAL TIME OUT
example:
actual TIME OUT: 4:30 pm
scheduled TIME OUT: 5 pm
undertime: 30 mins
This formula worked out fine until i stumbled over an employee with the ff. time in/out details:
actual TIME OUT: 1:48 am
scheduled TIME OUT: 11 pm
undertime: 1283 mins
Our employee went overtime from 11pm to 1:48pm. But apparently, with this formula, it assumes that 1:48 am is the same day as 11 pm. Im looking for a formula that considers 1:48 am as the next day so that the employee will not be charged with undertime in cases like this.
I'd love to hear your suggestions! Thanks in advance!!!!
Things to note about our schedule:
1. Working hours are in shifts. So there is no universal time in & time out.
2. Working hours can start at night and end in the morning.
3. Working hours can start early in the morning and end in the afternoon.
