    Multiple Value Return Accumulation

    Hi all,

I'm wondering if you can help me with the following issue I've been having for hours.

I am creating a spreadsheet to track the cost differences between one week and another (and one month and another)
What I will need to do is find out the overall Difference cost for one week between dates and for a specific month (I've used May here)

I've tried a Pivot Chart but I don't have enough knowledge of this to use it confidently. I've also tried IF, VLOOKUP and god knows how many other formulas.

I don't want to use filters as I want the figure to update automatically as the people using this spreadsheet aren't great with Excel

    Please PLEASE help me!

    Thanks in advance!

    Zoe

    Re: Multiple Value Return Accumulation

    For month of May, try

    =SUMPRODUCT((MONTH($A$2:$A$5)=5)*($E$2:$E$5))
    Life's a spreadsheet, Excel!
