Showing Combo Box Numerical Results as Text.

I am trying to create an "IF" function in a cell to display text based upon the numerical result of a Combo Box. If I can get an answer for my example I can complete the rest of the worksheet.

I have a combo box in Cell H10 that is cell linked to X10. The Input Range is X1 to X3. This shows up in my drop down list as I want it. The results in X10 are 1,2,& 3.

I then wrote an "IF" formula I thought would work to show the results of the numbers as "blank", "PASS" or "FAIL" in cell G10.

I then gave the cell conditional formatting to make the text white, green or red based on the answer.

I had it working and my system crashed and I cannot get it working again. Please help!

hi LaubeIT, welcome to the forum. it's just that your column G has somehow formatted into Text. Change the format in G10 into "General" & also go inside the cell after by pressing F2 & ENTER. you should see it changed. copy & paste this cell to the rest of G3:G29 just for the formatting & then clear the contents.
