    Simple timesheet??

    Should plugging in the formulas to this (see attached) spreadsheet be relatively simple? My friend tried to help me and I haven't figured out how close she came. I know that she made modifications I didn't ask her to make,.... she meant well. Eastern Effects is the original and mac212 is the modified with formulas plugged in.

    TIA

    so what do you want done with this? the layouts of the 2 files are quite different. assuming you want "your" file to be the 1 that gets changed, perhaps you could add some data to it, and show what you expect the outcome to be, as well as how you arrived at your answers?

    Re: Simple timesheet??

    im a little confused.

    tues starts at 8a and back at 8pm for 12 hrs
    wed starts at 7a and back at 6p for 12 hrs too?

    also, what happens with call/wrap/out?

    rate is $2, i presume per hour
    10or12? is used for what?
    likewise OT $ and DT $?

    i need more info to be able to help you. take those 3 days you have the info in, and show me exactly how you would do this if you were to do it manually please

    thanks

    Re: Simple timesheet??

    My rates are usually based on 10 or 12 hour days. If I "beat the rate", it's because I worked less than the agreed upon base rate. $2 was just for example. When I drive to a location, that is my Start time. The Call time is my time that I am supposed to arrive at the location. Wrap is when we finish shooting,... a.k.a. Camera Wrap. When we finish packing the truck, "walk away" or get back to the hotel, city, etc. t.b.d,... that's when we are Out. I'm Back at the parking lot and that is when I go off the clock.

    OT = 1.5
    Dbl = 2.0

    Re: Simple timesheet??

    see if this gives you what you need? i made a few assumptions, change these values as needed...

    1. "normal" time = 8 hrs
    2. "OT" time = more than 8, less than 10
    3. "DT" time = more than 10

    also, when you enter the times, use the format 08:00 and 16:00

    Re: Simple timesheet??

    No,...

    Normal or Straight = 10 or 12 hours

    OT = 1.5 for the first 2 hours

    Dbl = 2.0 until ,.... ???? hours after.

    Maybe I should have one sheet for 10 hours days and one for 12 ??

    Thanks for the reply.

    Re: Simple timesheet??

    This is what I wish my company used:

    http://www.showbizsoftware.com/Showb...-TV-p/1417.htm

    I used:
    http://www.marketcircle.com/billings/

    but the company needs me to use their spreadsheet,.... that had blank cells,... no formulas.
