    Question Trying to create a multiple user to do list that generate information to separate sheets

    HI,

    I am trying to create a spreadsheet to do list, that depending on who the task is assigned to, it will generate the information in a sheet specific to that person.

    I have attached a spreadsheet to help me try and explain what I am trying to do

    Can anyone help me??

    Are there any hidden sheets in this workbook?

    I think I have how to do it but can't get it to work!

    Thanks to JosephP sorting out the issues I had with my code I now have a code that will work for you in VBA!

    Can you please confirm if you know how to use VBA please? I will run through quickly what needs to be done.

    To input this hold ctrl and press F11. This will open Visual Basic. Now double click on the sheet1(MASTER) on the right hand side. This should bring up a blank white page. Copy and paste the above code into there and click save. Now go back into your excel document and create a button using the forms toolbar. Once you have made the button it will ask you to assign a Macro. Simply double click the one that says Copy_Rows.

    That button will only work for ones assigned to Amanda. If you need help with putting all the names in then please do either PM me or let me know here and I will put the rest of the code together for you.

    I can't get it to work!

    I keep getting a syntax error message after creating the button!!

    Please walk me through exactly what you did and I will see if I know where the problem was. Is the spreadsheet set up exactly the same as the one you put here?

    Also just to check is the butotn you are inserting from the 'Forms' toolbar?
