Need Formula that skips cells when using Autofill

Ok, I have a major question that I cannot figure out myself. How can I write a formula to skip cells when using Autofill?

I have searched for days on how I can do this and cannot find anything helpful. The closest thing I found were answers about hot to make the formula itself skip cells that it is referencing, though I need the cells that I am stretching the Autofill across to be physically skipped and left blank.

I am pretty savvy with excel and a lot of the time I create my own formulas and all myself, but this problem utterly befuddles me.

I am not sure how well I explained my problem but here is an example of what I need the end result to look like: example.xlsx

I really hope someone here can help, and thank you ahead of time for any feedback I receive from those of you who reply.

    Try this:

    Formula: copy to clipboard

Make sure your "Blank" cells are truly blank...

Thank you!! That works beautifully!! However, I admit, I did fail to mention that some of the "Other Data" cells will be blank, which are returning "N/A" Errors in some of the A:A cells with your formula. Any idea how to remedy that? I will continue working on it myself and post an answer if I find one before one is posted.

how about if you add an iferror...

    Formula: copy to clipboard

    ?

or if you leave the word "blank" or some other key in there to help you identify which cells you want a name to populate then you can modify my formula with:

    Formula: copy to clipboard

Ok yeh I was just working with that and the way I was setting it up gave circular referencing errors. Your first suggestion was exactly what i wanted, and I'll keep the second one in mind for future reference. My mind was dead set on thinking and focusing on "it has to check for the error AFTER the formula" haha.

Thank you so much Simarui, I greatly appreciate your help.
