Substitute employee number with name from another spreadsheet.

I have wb1 with name (blank), number, total. I have another spreadsheet (wb2) with number, name. I need to substitute the name associated with employee number from worksheet two into blank name column in worksheet one.

Try this, replace the path to wb2 path

=VLOOKUP(B2,'C:\Users\Mike\Desktop\[wb2.xlsx]Sheet1'!$A:$B,2,TRUE)
