Exclamation How to sort values in ascending order and to lookup a reference to that sorted value

I wanted to arrange series of different times into an ascending order in a one column and then to look up a value which is in the same row in a different column. Pls refer the attachment.
I used small() function to sort the times to the ascending order and then used vlookup() funtion to lookup the name related to the time. But when there is two equal times it always gave only one lookup value. i tried with few formulas as well but failed at the repetition of same value/time.

Pls help me to sort out this issue...

    >>One result with VLOOKUP

The built in lookup functions all deliver the first match they find; they do not scan through the entire array and deliver an array of all matches.

Anyway... I think you can accomplish what you want with Sort instead of using functions.

    1) Select the data to sort (A2:B8).

    2) Data => Sort & Filter panel => Click Sort
(The Checkbox "My data has headers" should be automatically checked).
Select "END TIME" in the column drop down; leave "Sort On" on its default of "Values" and "Order" on its default of "Smallest to Largest".

    3) Click OK on the pop up.

The data should be sorted by time with the NAME values in matching order.

Re: How to sort values in ascending order and to lookup a reference to that sorted value

    Hi Ben,

I hope I have missed to say that I wanted it(TIME) sorted automatically by using a function. I could get automatically sorted / arranged lowest to the highest by using "=small(array,k)" function. But I wanted to arranged automatically the relevant name in front of the time.

    Thanks friend..
