Forecasting for price

I am doing price forecasting analysis.
The problem that I faced:

When I compare the forecast price and the actual price, I realize that the forecast price for the month is showed months after in the actual price instead of its current month.
For example:
The forecast price for Jan is RM4.50 and the actual price is RM3.90. Yet, the forecast price in Jan is actually get more nearer to the actual price in November which is 2 moths forward.

I need to move the trend forward instead of backward.
