    Inserting Time Automatically

I have a spreadsheet with 2 columns. The first column contain the TIME and the second column contain the various data. I am looking for a formula or any VBA/Macro code that will automatically add a time in the first column once a DATA is entered in the second column. And if no data is entered in the second column the date column will remained blank.

Any help is sincerely appreciated. Thank you
