Moving Sales Report into Assests Total, separated by months

    Hi,

I get a sales report every month for assets sold. Some assets never sell, others sell multiple times. The sales report only shows each individual sale (i.e. not the actual sum for each asset).
I would like to transfer the data from that sales report into my main "Assets" sheet list. (That sheet contains all assets, wether they sold or not): Asset Number in Column A, Sales Total for January in Column B, Sales Total for February in Column C,...

I've attached a sample sheet to this post, to hopefully explain things a bit better.

Is there a formula (maybe something similar to vlookup?) which would automate that?
I'm not very experienced in Excel, but I believe a Pivot Table doesn't help because it doesn't reflect assets that never sold.

Thanks a lot for your help!

That's exactly it! Thanks very much – just transferred it to my sheet and it works like a charm!

Now – is there a way to set up Excel, so it displays an empty cell if the result of the formula in that cell has a value of zero?
