VLookup Alphabetical List, then display next number in a sequence

First thanks, for reading my forum post.

I'm very experienced with Excel, but a newb when it comes to complicated formulas.

I have an excel sheet with three columns song id, artist name, song name, and a Vlookup table (shown below).

The vlookup table is a list of folders where the artist's song is sorted in. It's strangely sorted because of some qwerty algorithm that the RSQ NEO22 karaoke player when displaying music, sorted in alphabetical folders.

Here is what the formula needs to do:

Lookup the artist name, and match to the vlookup table (shown below), then associate the sequential number. Note how the sequential numbers are sorted (3rd column)

5 E etc..
6 F etc..
7 G
8 H
9 I
10 J
