    Date and time issues

    hi,

    i have 2 cells,
    A1: 02/17/2012 7:30
    B2: 02/19/2012 5:30

    how can i know the difference in hours between them?

    Use this formula:

    =B2-A1

    and format the cell which has that formula using Custom set to [h]:mm

    =DAY(A2-A1)*24+HOUR(A2-A1)+(MINUTE(A2-A1)/60)

    Based on your last post it seems that you are satisfied with the solution(s) you've received but you haven't marked your thread as SOLVED.
