    Excel formula in Openoffice

Hi, I have an excel sheet with the below formula to look for a value and count the occurrences. However, I no longer have Excel and when I open the sheet in Open office, it doesn't work.

    =countifs($Queries.A$1:A$1048576;"January";$Queries.G$1:G$1048576;"1")

This is the Open office version, can anybody see why it won't work, please?

    Many, many thanks
    Ben

    Hi,

COUNTIFS() plural isn't a function known to OO.
COUNTIF() singular is. You probably need to create a helper column to concatenate all the columns you're trying to analyse into one column and then use COUNTIF()
