I need to take away the .53 and leave the 16 intact. Altering the decimal places is no good as it rounds down or up and I need the whole number to remain the same.

It is doing my head in. Any suggestions?

    Use INT (integer)

    Sure, if you like typing.

    =INT(A4) ... =ROUNDDOWN(A4,0)

    Absolutely.
