    Look up ... I think ???

    Hi every one. I am running multiply formulas on multiply sheets.

    I have a cell that is auto calc a %. so as other cells add up this cell continually changes. what formula would i use to then look at another sheet and display a amount based on a given percentage.

    example

    a1 - 101%

    sheet 2
    a1 = 101 b1= $1000

    i want to auto show $1000 in sheet 1 a2 as sheet 1 shows 101 %

    PLEASE HELP !!!!

    Don't be so impatient !!

    It would help if you were to explain your requirements more clearly, and give details of the formulae you are using. An example workbook to illustrate your data layout and what you have already, as well as your desired output, would also help.

    Ok so i have different sheets for different sales reps. Each rep has their own target and commission amount. As the sales come in i have a cell auto calculating the total and giving a percentage based on that reps target.
    On a hidden sheet i have a chart that shows the percentage earnt and the percentage paid.... Example If you earn 102% we pay 104% which is equal to $1,500. On john's sheet i want to show just $1500. Obviously if he was to put in another sale then i want it to show the new commission.
    example new percentage is 110% which we pay 125% so $3000

    On the hidden sheet i have 3 columns

    % Achieved % Earnt $ paid
    105 110 $2500

    Well, that tells us a lot about which columns you use, the cells where you want the formula to go, the sheet names you have - NOT.

    Why don't you post a sample workbook?
