Conditional Formating of a date range

Hi All,

I need help. What I'm trying to do to is use conditional formatting to highlight the dates from 7/1/12 to 12/31/12. I tried doing an and statement but it didn't work.

=AND(A2:A34>="7/1/2012",A2:A34<="12/31/2012")

Use single cell in CF and not whole range. And then extend your CF formuls to other cells in range.

=AND(A2>="7/1/2012",A2<="12/31/2012")

You might neef to put numbers instead of quotation text if it doesn't work
