    Auto filling the "Large" Function.

    Hi everyone,

I am trying to create an auto fill using the large function, but I am having a hard time figuring out how to fix this. If you look at the attachment you will see in the first column that I entered the large function for cells D2:D20, however when you go to drag the formula in the first column it will not drag the "g" in the large function.

I also had a similar problem in regards to using check marks. I open the check box and link it to a cell; now as I drag that cell it will then start creating checkboxes in every cell that is linked to the first cell so now I just have a whole bunch of check marks that are linked to a single cell.

If anyone could help me out with either one of these questions I would be very thankful! Thanks!

hi Chris, welcome to the forum. the "g"? i think you want to show the 2nd largest, 3rd largest & so on? try this:

    =LARGE($D$2:$D$20,ROWS($A$2:A2))

Thanks, if you have clicked on the * and added our rep.

Thank you for letting me know! I actually was hoping that someone would still respond to the same issue that I was having in the check mark boxes in regards to auto filling. This is a great forum and I am very thankful for those who have set this up and continue to keep it running smoothly!
