    Variance tracking

    Hey,

I am trying to creat a spreedsheet to help keep track of cashier variances. The goal is to be able to track the variances by 30 days. I would like to enter a start date and then the employee and have the total variances from the start date up to 30 days. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Re: Variance tracking

hi john_sirrah, welcome to the forum. try this on B6 in your "Employee Search":
    =SUM(OFFSET('Variance Tracking'!$A$1,MATCH('Employee Search'!$B$3,'Variance Tracking'!$A$2:$A$71,0),MATCH('Employee Search'!$B$7,'Variance Tracking'!$A$2:$HN$2,0)-1,1,30))

let me know if it works.
