Continuing counting

I am having a problem to figure continuing counting. I have reports that some of the items have to have continuing counting. This is to keep track of our incidents. I have setup the worksheet in the form but every time some adds their information it does not add the daily information up. CAN excel perform this function? If Excel can, is there any way someone assist in setting up this sheet?
