Referencing multiple cells while using conditional formatting

    Reservation.xls

    Hey all,
Attached is my reservation workbook I am working on.
    My problem is:
On the calendar sheet, I would like the cells that turn red with a reservation to display the name of the person who has reserved.
When there is a double booking (yellow cells) I would like to grab the multiple cells of names and combine them in the yellow cells.
This would make it much easier to view who is currently in which room and who the offending names are that have been double booked.
I am struggling to juggle conditional formatting and referencing these other cells for names.
    Thank you for your help

do you have a formula that will grab the names already? im thinking this might be a case for a VBA User Defined Function. Which will return multipul names if there are names in those locations. that is assuming you are trying to get those names on the calender view.

    No I don't have a formula sorry.
I am trying to stay away from VBA as to make the sheet compatible across many excel platforms such as Excel 2008 for mac.
    In saying that..
Is it possible to show just the names that would occupy the red cells? Therefore only referencing to 1 name not trying to combine 2. I would be more than happy with that.
    Thank you for your help

Re: Referencing multiple cells while using conditional formatting

hmmmm okay I have been thinking of a work around.
Is it possible and if so what formula would I use on the accommodation sheet to ear mark a double booking? Maybe I could use conditional formatting to find the same date or within the date ranges and look for the same room? If possible the row/s could be highlighted with yellow or something?
I hope this makes sense and VBA isn't needed.
I still look forward to a solution in the first post.. This next query would get me by though.
    Thank you for your help
