Export Excel 2003 Worksheet Functions and Formulas?

HI,

is it possible to export all Functions/Formulas/Validation list formulas etc. for each cell for an Excel Workbook? Would be useful as a backup and/or reference for everyhing a given Cell in the Worksheet is holding (in case of multiple things).

so why not you keep the whole workbook as a backup?

Well,

maybe not as a full backup (as I surely keep it as a full Worksheet backup) but maybe for Documentation purposes? And such?

Just encountered this challenge and solved it by doing the following:

Tools --> Formula Auditing --> Formula Auditing Mode

In addition to being able to export the formulas, the formulas can be cut and pasted into other applications such as Notepad or Word.

This also helps get around the "missing a parenthesis" popup window when changing formulas.
