    Question Main worksheets has list of tasks, need to auto create person specific task list

    We have a spreadsheet where we have a list of tasks that we assign to several people.
    e.g.
    Task 1 Jim
    Task 2 Pete
    Task 3 Jim
    Task 4 Donna
    Task 5 Jim
    We want to create a worksheet for each individual, that will automatically get populated via linking to the main worksheet.
    So for example, Jims worksheet will list Task 1 3 and 5 on separate lines. Donna and Pete will also have their own list.

    Does anyone know how to set this up so it will work seamlessly?? Is there a clever way of using IF?

    Pl see the attached file . I have put Array formula in "JIM" Sheet.YOU can drag .Similarly For other sheets it can created.

    Thx for your feedback. Unfortunately your skills are a little more advanced than mine and I could not get this to work for additional people even though I replaced the name in the formula.
    Perhaps I am asking too much from Excel!
    I have been hunting around to see if I can find resource allocation excel templates but the closest I can find are Project Management templates (which do have any resource allocation features).

    tubefeed , you are probably not entering the array formula with Ctrl,Shift+Enter. Type the formula in the cell and press the CTRL SHIFT and ENTER keys at the same time rather then just ENTER or highlight all the formula in the formula bar and again use CTRL SHIFT and ENTER keys at the same time rather then just ENTER.
