Time and Date of the last link update

What is the best way to display the time and date of the last link updated to an external workbook?

    Thanks Nunzio

Re: Time and Date of the last link update

You could set up a button to update the link, and use a macro to both update the link and put the time and date in a cell. The only problem is, if someone updates without using the button, there'd be no way to know.
Is your code running too slowly?
Does your workbook or database have a bunch of duplicate pieces of data?

It will save both time and effort in the long run!
