Question Formula to show blank when a condition is met

    Hi all,
We are very, very, new to this programing business so I appologise for the simplicity of our problem

We are involved in directional surveying and what we need to do is calculate the difference between a cell value on one worksheet and the cell value on another worksheet but if there is no value then be nothing.

We would like to get rid of the surplus zeros at the bottom of our tables. The "" function has worked in most of our colums but in the last few that contain the formula IF(ISNUMBER(IN!G4-OUT!G4),IN!G4-OUT!G4,"") the then be nothing part is not working and we are still ending up with pages of zeros.

The cell values IN!G4-OUT!G4 are from other sheets, could this be part of the problem?

You aren't programming, it's using Excel formulas.

It's not a good idea to have unnecessary formulas in the sheet
