    disabled macros data entry alert

    Hello,

I knowit may be a daft issue but I was trying to find an option in the Excel's optiones to get rid of this alert and I couldn't. When I open a document with macros and disable them I Have an alert popping up every time I try to entry data into a cell.

"The macros in this project are disabled. Please refer to the online help or documentation of the host application to determine how to enable macros."

I do not want to enable macros but enter data. I would enable macros in the document once a week. If anyone knows where the position to tick/untick is placed it would be great to let me know. It gives me a headache.

Thank you for reading this thread even that it was so daft concern.

    Regards
    Simon

    You can't. It's a security measure.

In Excel 2007 you can create a Trusted Folder to put files in where you don't want the alert
    Hope that helps.
