Two values in same cell - need them re-grouped in separate columns

Hi,

Please give me a hand with the following:

- I have a cell with two values, separated by a 'slash' sign. What I need is to get each of the two values re-arranged in separate columns, according to date (see attached)

Try this.

Copy B1:G2

Go to A5 and then go to Edit|Paste Special... then select Transpose and click Ok.

Then select B5 to B10 and go to Data|Text to Columns.

Select Delimited, and click Next.

Select Other checkbox and enter the same slash in the empty box next to Other.

Click Finish

You should have the same results.

you could also cut and paste the data again and then do text import wizard to clean that up
