Hi there. Having browsed your forums for a while I have finally had to register as I can't seem to find an answer to my query.
My question is this:
I have two workbooks. One changes daily both in content and filename although the headings for the columns stays the same (first name, last name, date of birth, cc number, postcode etc.). For now lets call this workbook A.
The other, workbook B is updated by myself with data but also has the same headings as workbook A. My problem is I want to be able to enter minimal information into the relevant boxes in workbook B, for instance name, Joe Bloggs, and his date of birth, 23/03/1983. What I require is the sheet to cross reference with workbook A to find any instances of the information I entered and fill in the blanks on workbook B.
I understand this may prove difficult due to the daily file name change of workbook A but hopefully someone will be able to assist!
