Formula to assign letters to digits and repeatedly sum to a single digit

I need some help in creating a tool for numerology.
Every alphabet from a to z has a number associated with it.
A = 1, b 2 , c = 3 etc

Numeric Values for Each Numeral

A 1 N 5
B 2 O 7
C 3 P 8
D 4 Q 1
E 5 R 2
F 8 S 3
G 3 T 4
H 5 U 6
I 1 V 6
J 1 W 6
K 2 X 5
L 3 Y 1
M 4 Z 7

I can either use excel or access or write this.



Example 1 , r = 2 , I = 1, L = 3. .
If I write RIL in column 1 , column 2 should say 213 and column 3 should add 2+1+3 and display 7.

Example 2:
Col 1 = Infosys Ltd
Col 2 should say 1587313 344
Col 3 = 1 + 5 + 8+ 7+ 3+1+3 3+4+4 = 39 , 3+ 9 = 12 , add 1+2 = 3

Is this tough to do ??

See attached. Copy the formulas to the right for as many characters as you need to put in the strings in column A and edit the formula in column B to match.

Note that 2+1+3 = 6

I am sorry but I am challenged in excel. I think the attached sheet is what I am looking for. If you give the formular for 1 row, I can managet it for others

I need the following


I would like to calculate Name number calculation numerologically.
I have given the values for the alphabets in the Excel sheet .

For Example
A I J Q Y - 1
B K R - 2
C G L S - 3
D M T - 4
E H N X - 5
U V W - 6
O Z - 7
F P - 8

Name : MARK ANTONY = 32 ( I want to have the answer like this ) . I dont want the col 2 . Just the total sum .

Please help me.
