    Help with SUMProduct with two date ranges

    How do I use SUMPRODUCT to sum a column using dates from another column? For example, I need to sum all the amounts that are due in February. My due dates range all of February not just the word "February". I have tried to do it using
    SUMProduct(--(F6:F11,"<2011-01-31")*(F6:F11," >2011-03-01"),E6:E11)
    It comes back zero. What am I doing wrong?
