Creating a formula with fixed and static variables

I'm trying to create an excel formula to do a series of operations including 2 columns to post into a third, where two variables are fixed and one is static:

    =sum((k36/k32)*f32)

Where the first cell--k36--would be variable and the other two cells would be static.

Just looking for some help on accomplishing this?

It sounds like you are talking about "relative" vs. "absolute" addressing
If this formula is put in A1, =SUM((K36/$K$32)*$F$32)
it will become =SUM((K37/$K$32)*$F$32) when dragged down one row and
=SUM((L36/$K$32)*$F$32) when dragged right one cell.

The $ can be read as "always" and address can be
    relative row/relative column like A1
    relative row/absolute column like $A1
absolute row/relative column like A$1 or
    absolute row/absolute column like $A$1
    _
    ...How to Cross-post politely...
..Wrap code by selecting the code and clicking the # or read this. Thank you.

    You're welcome.
One of the frustrating things about Excel can be not knowing what search terms to enter into Help.
