    sum columns from match formula

    Hello everyone,

    I have the sales since Jan 2012 until today per material and per month. Materials are in rows and months in columns. What I need to do is the sum for the last 3 months from column 24 - 29 (which are the match function values). This is an example:

    2013 2014
    Jan Feb Mar Apr May Jun Jul Aug Sep Oct Nov Dec Jan Feb Mar Apr May Jun Jul Aug Sep Oct Nov Dec
    0 0 1 0 0 0 0 1 1 1 0 1 1 1 2 2 0


    So I need the sum for the last 3 months. I'm trying to use the match because even when Jun 2014 - Dec 2014 cells are blank, they have a function, and as well because every month the Match values will change.

    Can anyone help me please? Thanks!!

    Can you post a spreadsheet, showing how your data are laid out. It makes it easier to help. Don't leave any confidential information in it, of course...

    Hi,

    We would be able to code the formulas if you upload a sample workbook (with insensitive data). If you have sensitive data, give us the worksheet layout filled with dummy numbers.

    Sorry I forgot to add, just focus on the "Consumption" worksheet, the otherone is were the information is taken.

    Make a table of your data, then you only have to change manualy the formula in AN3, AO3, AP3.

    The rest of the column will be filled automatic.

    Hi,

    Please find enclosed the workbook with revised formulas in the Consumption sheet.
    I've colored the cells in Orange where I've incorporated the formulas.

    From Row 3 onwards, use the below formulas and copy down :

    In column AN (3 months), use
    Formula: copy to clipboard

    In column AO (6 months), use
    Formula: copy to clipboard

    In column AP (12 months), use
    Formula: copy to clipboard
    Please Login or Register  to view this content.

    I've also fixed the formulas for each year from column D to AM. Is this what you need?
