Right click on cell -> Format cells -> Currency and choose your currency...
If there is no sign you have INR below

INR is the old one, now there's a new symbol for the Indian Rupee which looks like Alphabet R without the straight line on the left and a roof on the top..
I think that's what ran1 needs, if I am not mistaken?
It doesn't exist yet as a Unicode character. See http://www.knowledgebase-script.com/...ticle-932.html.
