Can the Text in Comments be picked from Cells

Can we link the Cell Contents to Comments Automatically Row-Wise..?

I am managing a File on Different Stocks which have been studied for more than 100 days and some of them have been tracked for the 10-15 days..

Now one sheet is deisganted to store the Dates and the Stock Prices and the Stock Names and in the other sheet I have the Stock Names with The Average of "X" no of Days..

I want a comment to appear everytime I hover over the Stock Name in the 2nd Sheet to show the Date and the High/Low Price.

I would be storing this data in the Sheet1 but I want it as a comment in the second sheet..

    Ex:

Every Stock may have a same Start Date anda different High and Low Price.
It will stored somewhere in the Sheet from Sheet1!$A$A100..

In Sheet2 the Stock Names would come from B$2$B$100 when I hover over these cells these comments should show up..

I dont know whether this is possible..please do not suggest to show it in a cell as there's no place as the Number of Stocks and the other data is quite wide spread and it doesn ot fit it in the View so want to keep it as a Comment or a Tool-Tip...but a Dynamic one differnt for each cell picking the contents from different cells..

The short answer to your question is yes. See attached spreadsheet with an example. The small trick is to put a comment on all cells and then simply update the text based on a string that is updated. See code in sheet.

    Thanks Marvin,

I thought maybe it was not possible..
I exactly wanted it to work this way, but can we just have it totally dynamic without the Command Button.
as i would just get the info on the Sheet 2 in my application of any changed value..

    Dear Marvin

Please Login or Register to view this content.

In the above code What's the Significance of Text:=Com ?

And I was also thinking of having Multi-coloured Comment as High Low Close.

I tried doing that however the moment I click the Button it goes off..
Is that possible and more important I need to make it Dynamic without the Command Button so please help on the same Marvin...
