Format multiple sheets simultaneously with macro?

I need to apply the formatting listed below to all 16 sheets of a workbook.

I tried macros for some of them, but the "custom sort" macro goes back to the sheet it was recorded on and re-sorts it over and over, so I must not be doing something right. Can you run macros on the whole book, not just one sheet? Time is short...

1. Delete all rows that do not have color filled in background/not filled
2. apply conditional formatting to cells in some columns based on values (greater than zero=green, less than zero = red, equal to zero = yellow)
3. custom sort with several levels

Any help appreciated!
