Grouping and Ranking within Groups

Hi

In Column C, is it possible to rank DOBs in Column B, grouped by the IDs in Column A?

Column A Column B Column C
1234 01/08/44 ???
1234 01/08/32
1234 01/08/66
2363 01/08/78
2363 01/08/81
2363 01/08/56
9264 01/08/51
9264 01/08/68
9264 01/08/48

in the above I used order of 1 such that earliest date is ranked 1... revise as nec.

I'm sorry, but I now realise that I need a reverse ranking i.e. I need the youngest BOB to be assigned a 1 - this is so that I can delete all rows with a number >1 and therefore retain the youngest person.
