Cells not responding to left, right, center arrangment

I think I did something but I don't know What. I select a cell that has a 20 font Size I enter a number it show at the 20 Font. Now when I go some ware else in the work unselecting that cell the number went to font 10 and droped to the left bottom of the cell. When I select the cell again and select the the left middle and right to move the number it does not responed. It happens everyware in the worksheet.

Can you post a sample workbook?

Click new post, make a reply, scroll down past the submit button and click the manage attachments button.

Amsanborn, click the "new post" button, then scroll down and click "Manage attachments". Click "Browse" and browse to your file. Then click "Upload" and wait until the file is uploaded. Then close the "Manage attachemnts" pop up and post your reply.

OK, so which cells are you talking about? and what is the reason for all the shapes overlaying the cells????

Just go out side the border area and select any cell type in a number and select a 20 font, and try to left, center,right. Also when you leave the cell does it go back to 10 font and the numer dives to the bottom left of the cell.

A1 Dont worry about the book its just a copy

Your sheet is showing formulas. Hit Ctrl-` or go Tools-Options - view tab and untick Formulas.

After that the sheet is back in the normal view again, where the cells display the result of formulas, not the formulas themselves.

In Formulas view, everything is left-aligned by default.

Just below the word Title you will see a dropdown with the word No prefix.
Change to Solved
