Function to count based on date data format

    Happy New Year!

Would anyone happen to know how to write a function that would show me all of the orders that are 24 hours past due and another function that shows 48 hours past due from the current date in cell A2 based on the date formats in column R and lookup names in column P of the New-10AM tab?

I have attached the spreadsheet for review.

    Thank you.

Sorry, I can read most Excel 2007 files, but apparently not this one. We'll wait for a 2007 user to chime in.

Re: Function to count based on date data format

    You lost me here:

based on the date formats in column R and lookup names in column P of the New-10AM tab
Can you elaborate on what you mean by that?

Red face Re: Function to count based on date data format

To elaborate a little more; i have to base my results on area (column P) to determine how many of them are 24 and 48 hours past due as of Today() (cell A2 of the "Summary" tab) by using a function that will determine the 24 and 48 hours past due between the date of cell A2 of the "Summary" tab and the dates in column R. I hope this makes sense.

    Thanks,

Re: Function to count based on date data format

Still not sure I understand, but I will assume you want a formula in W of New-10AM which indicates which dates in column R are over 24 hours older than Summary!A2 and which are over 48 hours?

    If so,

    =IF(Summary!$A$2-R2>2,"Over 48",IF(Summary!$A$2-R2>1,"Over 24",""))

    copied down.

Re: Function to count based on date data format

I have re-attached the spreadsheet to demostrate the current functions I have (cells in green). Can I build off of this one to make sure that I capture the resultls with this criteria included?
