    Help on Advanced Sumif

    Hi again...

I posted almost a month ago about a vlookup across worksheets. I finally settled on: SUMIF(INDIRECT("'"&T13&"'!b:b"),$A$1,INDIRECT("'"&T13&"'!K:K"))
where it would search a list of tab names to find a range, and in that range, add the amounts corresponding to the dates. Now, as I try to illustrate in my example, some of the tabs have more than one account on them. We used to just sum them to one account, and now I have to break them down by account. Is there a way to modify my formula to help with this?

    Thanks

    Re: Help on Advanced Sumif

    Try, in B10, copied down:

    =SUMPRODUCT(SUMIF(INDIRECT("'Tab"&ROW(INDIRECT("1:3"))&"'!A1:A100"),A10,INDIRECT("'Tab"&ROW(INDIRECT("1:3"))&"'!C1:C100")))

adjusting ranges A1:A100 and C1:C100 to suit and adjusting the "1:3" to represent the number of sheets you have (i.e. from Tab1 to Tab3)

this assumes your tab names are consistent to your sample.
Where there is a will there are many ways.
